In this Movie-Go-Round New to Two, Brett  brought us Wim Wenders’ Paris, Texas. This slow-paced showcase for Harry Dean Stanton is about a man named Travis, and his journey to reconnect with his son, with himself, and with his estranged wife. Music by Ry Cooder adds that “lonesome West” vibe. We pondered questions like: Why does his brother leave him alone? Who spoiled this kid so much he doesn’t want to use his own feet? Does Travis ever find redemption? And what did David and Nicole think of it all?
