What Tilting Windmill Is:
In Don Quixote, the tale’s hero haphazardly jousts with windmills, for he is convinced they are giants. His heroism is misplaced, but nevertheless, it is idealistic, ambitious, and romantic. At every stage, creativity must be all of those things.
“Tilting at windmills” often means to fight with imaginary foes or enter a battle that cannot be won. Here at Tilting Windmill Studios, though, it means embracing the quixotic, bizarre mind of Don Quixote in pursuit of creative endeavors. Creativity should be a bit wacky and different after all, right?
